Terms, without the waffle.
Last updated: 11 April 2026These are the ground rules for using Beeinked. We've tried to write them like a human would actually speak. Where the legal language matters, we've kept it; where it doesn't, we haven't. If anything's unclear, email us and we'll explain.
Who you're dealing with
"Beeinked" or "Beeinked Software" is a managed website service operated by the founder as a sole trader in Wales, UK. In these terms, "we" / "us" means Beeinked, and "you" means the person or studio paying for the service.
What you're paying for
A custom-designed website for your tattoo studio, hosted and maintained by us, with ongoing updates handled via WhatsApp or email. The exact scope — number of pages, features, etc. — depends on the plan you pick. Current pricing lives on the pricing page and is the source of truth.
Billing and cancellation
- Monthly rolling. No long contracts, no lock-ins.
- End-of-month cancellation. Cancel whenever you like — your service continues until the end of the month you paid for, and we don't charge you again after that.
- No refunds for partial months. Because we keep things simple, we don't pro-rata refunds. Cancel at any point in the month and you keep the service until the month ends.
- Late payment. If a payment fails, we'll chase it nicely. If it's still unpaid after 14 days, we may pause the site until it's sorted. We'd much rather talk to you than pull the plug — get in touch if something's wrong.
- Price changes. If we ever change pricing, existing customers get at least 30 days' notice and can cancel before it kicks in.
Your content
You own everything you send us — photos, copy, branding, the lot. By sending it to us you're giving us permission to use it for the purpose of running your website (which is the whole point). If you want something removed, just ask.
When you cancel, you keep your content and your design. We'll export the site for you — content, images, and the final build — so you can take it wherever you like. We're not in the business of holding your work hostage.
Domain names
- You can own your own domain. Register it yourself, point it at us, and we'll handle the setup. It stays yours forever.
- Or we can register and manage it for you. If we do, the cost is included in your plan, and if you leave we'll transfer it to you at no charge. Your domain is always yours — we just handle the paperwork.
Uptime and support
- 99.99% uptime target. That's our SLA. If we fall below it in a given month due to something on our end, we'll credit you — just ask.
- Update requests answered within 1 working day. Send us a photo or a change request; we'll have acted on it (or replied with a question) by the end of the next working day. "Working day" means Monday to Friday, UK time, excluding bank holidays.
- Emergencies (site down, something broken) get handled faster — that's the whole point of a managed service.
The usual caveats apply: planned maintenance (we'll warn you), things outside our control (big internet outages, Cloudflare having a bad day, DNS weirdness from your registrar), and acts of actual god don't count against the SLA.
Acceptable use
We reserve the right to decline or remove content that is illegal, infringes someone else's rights, or is used to harass people. This isn't a fishing expedition — we're a small team working with tattoo artists in good faith, and 99.9% of clients will never hit this clause. But we're not hosting anything that's going to land either of us in court.
You also agree not to use the service to:
- Break the law (ours, yours, or anyone else's)
- Host content that infringes someone else's copyright or trademarks
- Send spam, malware, or phishing content
- Interfere with the infrastructure running other clients' sites
Liability
We'll take good care of your website, but we're a small operation and we have to be realistic about what we can be on the hook for. To the extent the law allows:
- Our total liability in any 12-month period is capped at the fees you paid us in that period
- We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses (lost bookings, lost profits, reputational damage, that sort of thing)
- None of this limits liability for things the law doesn't allow us to limit — death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, and so on
Changes to these terms
If we need to update these terms, we'll change the date at the top and email existing customers with a summary of what's different. If you don't like the changes, you can cancel — that's always an option.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
